The Stamping Boutique challenges

Challenges for today used digital images from The Stamping Boutique.

This first card was made for Charisma Cardz Challenge #2, which was to create a card inspired by "Good Luck" ... Tracey made this cute image and wanted to give it a try.  I used Copics for the horseshoe, pot and clover, then prismas 'n gamsol for the rainbow and shadows.  I added some glossy accents by dots to the coins, so they're 'bumpy' for texture.  The sentiment was computer generated.  Not being irish myself, I don't have a lot of St. Patty's Day or Irish sentiments.  Finished off with a green satin ribbon and of course - Gold half pearls ... Fun card for me to make.

This next one is for Dutch Dare's challenge today (although I'm not seeing the post up on their blog and it's 11:00 am) - to create a card using stitching - real or faux.  I used real stitching ... I'm going to have to either move my sewing machine downstairs (ugh) or move all my stamping stuff upstairs (half-ugh ... after all, upstairs is where the REAL people live, lol).  I don't use it as much as I want to.  A lot of the times after I've taken a photo of the card and editing it to fit, I say "Wouldn't that look nice with some stitching?"  One of these days, lol.

I digress ... This second card was made using The Stamping Boutique's Wishing Well and Ladybug Audrey.  I used Copics to color both, then freehand cut out Audrey to pop her up.  I added some glossy accents to the stones on the wishing well after I colored to give them a bit of dimension.  Looks pretty cool in real life.  This card measures 5.5 squared.

Glad you stopped by - leave a comment to let me know what you think.

These are beautiful Collette! I love the St. Patty's Day one! Will definately have to get that one when it hits her store! LOL! I was just there last night and got 8 more images to play with! Your coloring is beautiful as always! Some day you will need to help me learn the prismacolored pencils and OMS techniques! I have the pencils and OMS sitting here, just have not learned how to use them yet! Have a wonderful day! Happy Creating! Sara
