A Day for Daisies Challenge #21

This week over at A Day For Daisies, the challenge is to create a project using pastels, the kicker is No Pink!  She's offering this freebie image of Sleeping Flower to participators.

I colored this darling image with Copics.  Those wings are shades of Violet, I promise!  It was really hard to keep this whole thing pastel-colored.  I kept wanting to reach for a color that would pop, lol, but I kept true to the challenge by using saffron and celery cardstock and an old designer paper from K&C of daisies.  Finished off with some celery twill ribbon, celery flourishes and some pale green pearls.

I'm loving these delicate images, I'm telling you!
Hope you enjoy! Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts

It's beautiful! You can absolutely tell the wings aren't pink when you enlarge the picture. Wonderful job, I'm glad I stopped by.
